TIPS DAN TRIK

Pilih fungsi u dengan urutan LIPET, yaitu :

  1. Logaritma
  2. Inverse function
  3. Polynomial
  4. Eksponensial
  5. Trigonometri

Contoh

\int x . cos x dx

Pilih :

  1. u = x
  2. dv = cos x
  3. Turunkan u terhadap x, didapat \frac{du}{dx}=1
  4. Integralkan cos x, didapat v=sin x.
  5. Substitusikan ke dalam bentuk

\int u dv = u v- \int v du

\int x. cos x dx=  x.sin  x - \int sin x dx

= x.sin  x - (- cos x) + C

= x. sin x + cos x + C
